The Family Advisory Board is made up of parents and community members who support the mission of the Autism Resource Center of Central MA.

Family Advisory Board

 

    Members of the Family Advisory Board are parents of children with autism spectrum disorders from across the Central portion of the Central/West Massachusetts Department of Developmental  Services Region, and serve as the voice of the families the Center serves. The Board supports the Center’s Mission, meeting  four times a year with the Center Director to insure that the Center’s programs meet the needs of all families across the spectrum and age continuum. 
3.      The board has 12 members with at least 3 members from each DDS area in the region and 3 members at large as well as a liaison to AFAM. Members of the board may chair or serve on subcommittees as deemed necessary. 
4.      There are standing subcommittees for our fundraising events,  the Annual 5K/Run Walk Committees and the Golf Committee . 
5.      In 2012, a Fifteen Year Gala subcommittee will be formed to plan a Gala for the Fall of 2012.

Members of the board support the fundraising efforts of the Center and may chair or serve on subcommittees as deemed necessary.
