Event Committees
We are looking for volunteers for the following event committees. Please click on each for more information:
Advisory Council
Our advisory council serves as the voice of the families we serve. Members of the board are made up of individuals with autism, their families, and providers from the community. The board has 12 members, with at least 3 members from each DDS area in the region and 3 members at large, as well as a liaison to AFAM (Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts). The council supports the fundraising efforts of the center and may chair or serve on subcommittees as deemed necessary.
How to Join
The advisory council isn’t looking for new members at this time. When a member resigns, a call for nominations is made in our newsletter. Potential candidates submit a letter of interest to serve to the center Director, who shares the letter with the council for consideration.
