Insect Safari at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

How many species of insects are there? What do insects need to survive? Where do insects live?
What makes an insect an insect? Come bug out with us and uncover the answer to these
questions and more as we take to the gardens and trails in search of insects, arachnids, and
more. Sing, dance, observe, and explore as we learn about insects of all shapes and sizes. Each
child will receive supplies for a simple insect inspired craft to try at home.
Roam the different gardens and discover the many species of insects that live in those habitats.
With this guided walk, students will use bug nets, bug boxes, and magnifying classes to catch
and study insects.
